Description of lesson: This will be an individual project. Students will choose one character from Romeo and Juliet and make an animoto for that character. Directions will be given in class on how to create an animoto including a tutorial and a step by step worksheet.
Assignment: Students will need to show their understanding of a major character in Romeo and Juliet. They will need to embed their video onto our Unit of Instruction page to share with the entire class.
Resources/materials needed: Text of Romeo and Juliet, computer with internet access, lecture notes from previous classes, animoto.com
Technology reflection: Students will be able to use their creativity and knowledge of the character of their choosing to construct a creative instructional video of their character. Students will be able to enjoy other students work by posting on the wiki
Evaluation: (as a classroom teacher, this will be where you jot your notes on what went right, what needs to be changed, etc.)
I will evaluate the students by their animoto video. Did they do a good job or portraying their chosen character in their video?
